Week 51

Dear All,

Last week we found this awesome new family thanks to some sisters.  We
bumped into the Gainseville sisters in this complex and they gave us a
referral to try and so we went and had a lesson right then! It was
awesome.  They are the Tarboga family. They're so kind.

So Thursday we had a lesson with a less active member Ronaldo.  He
called us and basically said he wants to go back to church! So we went
over and visited with him and read out of the BOM with him, it was so
awesome it was the first less active lesson I've had in this area.
And he ended up coming to church!!!

Our weekend was jam-packed with lessons! We had 10 lessons scheduled
for Saturday!! One of them was with our investigator Angel Garcia.
He's been investigating the church for 5 years and he struggles with
the word of wisdom.  We went in on Saturday and found that his
co-worker who also lives with him was drinking and that he was too
after like a month clean.  He wants to stop so bad but his environment
is not a good one in that regard.  My companion Elder Brunsdale
basically chewed his friend out and got really mad.  I had to calm him
down! We left...it was a rough night.

Sunday was pretty normal actually.  We had correlation, with Obispo in
his house after and we ate there too.  I like Obispo Pellicier he's
super cool.  We had a lesson with the most SOLID investigator we have
named Lorena Hernandez.  She lives way out in Warrenton and she
doesn't have a phone but we've been so luck as to catch her every
Sunday night to have a lesson! She is he only Hispanic I've taught so
far who remembers everything we teach and understands the importance
of everything it's incredible! We taught her the BOM and read a bit
with her.  We then hurried over to another lesson with the Tarboga
family and I thought they wouldn't answer it they did the 3rd knock
and we finished teaching them the Restoration.  It was a pretty good
night.

Today we did our shopping and got some new music and came to play
basketball.  I don't know what we are going to do for the rest of
today.  We are going to have a lesson with our recent convert Hermana
Guzman.  Should be fun! Have a good week everyone!

We also had zone training on Tuesday.  This is my zone now we had a
Valentine's Day theme going. Oh and Elder Brunsdale is on the far
right!

This was something weird and sketchy we saw in Georgetown South.
We're there a lot it's all Hispanics there.
